Alessandro Safina was born in 1963 in Siena. He was fond of music from the age of nine. His parents were passionately fond of opera and from early childhood they instilled this passion in their son. At the age of 17, he began to study at the conservatory in Florence. His career developed successfully – in 1989 he received the first prize in the International Vocal Competition named after Catia Ricciarelli. Initially, he worked only in opera, performing the main roles in La bohème, The Barber of Seville, Capuleti and Montecchi, as well as in Russian operas “Mermaid” and

“Eugene Onegin”. The idol of Alessandro Safin is the legendary Enrico Caruso. But along with classical music, the singer loves to perform pop and rock music. His concerts perfectly popularize the musical masterpieces of different eras. In addition to his singing career, Safina successfully acted in films. We saw him in the Brazilian series Clone, where he played himself. He also played the role of Mario Cavaradossi in the modern adaptation of Giacomo Puccini’s opera Tosca, called Tosca E Altre Due.
